The main goal of the ND Geological Society is to increase the awareness of geology and earth science in the everyday lives of people. We provide educational materials to schools, sponsor educational events, and have provided help or funding to many special projects throughout the state.

Monthly meetings very often include a presentation on some aspect of geology or earth science, by one of the members or by nationally recognized experts.  The meetings are informal, often educational, and always fun.

Annual Dues: $20.00

You can now pay your dues through our Secure Payment Portal on the Publications Order Form.

Meeting Place: usually Department of Mineral Resources
(1000 E. Calgary Ave. in Bismarck)

North Dakota Heritage Center
(located on state capitol grounds in Bismarck)

Meeting Date: usually a Tuesday of the month, September thru May depending on weather and speaker's schedules.

Meeting Time: usually 12:00 noon, for luncheon meeting with presentation
(usually a $5 charge to help offset cost of lunch).
